Tendo Mokko was established in 1940, using molded plywood that opened up a new field of mass-production furniture in the country. They have expanded to collaborate with top Japanese architects such as Kenzo Tange, Junzo Sakakura, Isamu Kenmochi to create complicated curved lines impossible with natural wood.
