The stacking stool designed by Isamu Kenmochi for Akita Mokko was exhibited in “Appartment Life” exhibition in Matsuya Department store in 1958. Targeting an urban life, the function and flexibility of this stacking stool made it popular. The production lasted for more that 60 years and stopped in 2021. Our pieces come from the very first limited edition that came in black and red colour.
There is a label on each stool.
