This scupture is part of a series created by Andrea Branzi for IN’EI in 2018.
He created a landscape to be placed on the table composed of containers on which human figures rest, as in the anthropomorphic tradition of Latin origin. Each of these dark bronze objects refers to one of the symbols indicated by a semiotist on the significance of the table: Family Tradition Drunkenness Silence Seduction Discussion Spirituality.
“The painting becomes a mysterious land inhabited by magic which correspond to the complex relationships established between the guests and the food. In fact, the whole table is still a very complex scene where they meet standard objects, unique objects, natural materials and temporary materials. This complexity is represented in my dream project by the different appearances that characterize family and social relationships each time we share food ». ANDREA BRANZI
